Most of what we do is local: apartments off Merrimon Avenue, houses in Kenilworth and Haw Creek, condos in Biltmore Village with a building manager who wants a certificate of insurance on file first. Two movers and a truck run $139 an hour; a faster three-mover crew runs $195. When a move is large enough that an hourly clock makes you nervous, our estimator walks the home and writes a flat rate instead.
We also load and drive long-distance moves ourselves, pack and unpack whole houses, crate pianos and gun safes, hold goods in storage when a closing date slips, and slow the pace for older folks leaving a longtime home.
